There is a problem appeared during last bluebottle installation.
There was no anything like this.
p3bf motherboard
nVidia TNT2/Pro
PIII-550MHz
Quantum Fireball 17GB hdd
sony 8x CD
typical ethernet net-card.
I inserted CD with 12/03/2004 build of bb, rebooted PC...
and got black screen. Nothing else excluding of hdd LED light which
off-ed after aprox. 40 secs. Sometimes "OBE" appeared. If I press SHIFT
just after kbd testing during booting I can change conf-strings in OBL>
but nothing changed...
Confirm that you can 'change something'.
As I remember, you see several lines of parameters with format like:
<Arg-Id>=<arg-Value>.
Just change the easiest looking <arg-Value> and do<Enter>.
Then you should see the list repeated with your change shown.
As I remember, you can repeat the changes until you enter "c", to
continue.
I couldn't understood what was going on.
I tried to install minimal Native Oberon (January 2003 version) - the
same result excluding "OBERON loading..." string on the screen. And
hanging up again.
I tried to observe BIOS settings (AWARD) and changed it - without any
effects.
When you find problems, always move backwards to familiar territory,
then advance in small steps.

Is it a joke? In exactly the same way I can advise you how to use mouse
buttons in Oberon... :o)

May be you can propose something more than a common discourse?

As we (friends of mine and me) could see the same problems were on PC
based on Intel 440 BX chipset (from different producers).
