4) There is a project of porting BB to Linux. Difficult without the
source code.

Perhaps it can run native on x86 hardware - unlikely ?

Well it seems that there's no linux version because:-
Not a *Linux version* but in September last year Werner Braun of O³ Software
GmbH & Co. ( http://www.o3-software.de ) reported the following in the
BlackBox mailing list:

"Using Suse 10.1 and Wine Version 0.9.11 the BlackBox really runs nice under
Linux. All the Gui-Elements work (which was an problem with previous
versions of wine), even Database-Interfacing using ODBC is possible. In fact
I do have a 24/7 Web-Application running under Linux and Wine using the
BlackBox. If you point to http://www.emkg.de you can just have a look at
it."

As far as I know linux port is under development.
Now there are working linux BB versions, but they considered still
very beta and for that reason doesn't published.
Moreover, that development (again, as far as I understand reading
russian forums) moved to Russia
I think Fedor Tkachev may be responsible for the port, and I know name
of one developer who works on it, famous Oberon enthusiast Trurl.
This is not secret for those who reads russian BlackBox related
forums, and I do not think anyone could blame me for writing such info
I do not know how long will it take, but there is a hope that BB Linux
port eventually will be published
